Description
This was a standard circulation penny in pre decimal times, 240 of them make up a pound, 12 for a shilling.
There are a number of varieties of this coin:
- Mint marks H and KN on 1912, 1918 and 1919 years
- 1922 rare case where middle prong on trident does NOT touch the rim bead
- 1916 recessed ear / broken rim tooth (above the 'T:')
