Description

This design replaces the floral design as the United Kingdom's standard circulating coins, known as the definitive. The new designs pay tribute to King Charles III and his love for the natural world.

The 2023 strike was issued with a special privy mark of a Tudor crown, it can be found on the obverse to the right of the neck.
