This coin was released for circulation and features the 5th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, it was also included in the 2016 annual coin sets as well as being available individually in silver and gold.

The coin marks 100 years since World War I and was also available in silver and gold.

There is a known error where the edge inscription used is the one intended for the 2016 Great Fire of London £2 coin, "THE WHOLE CITY IN DREADFUL FLAMES".
