The 100th Anniversary of the First World War
Description
This coin was released for circulation and features the 5th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, another version exists with the 4th portrait but these were only included in the annual coin sets (apart from 100 of them which were put in the tills in the gift shop on HMS Belfast).
The coin marks 100 years since World War I and was also available in silver and gold.
There is a known error referred to as the "flag error" where the tallest mast appears to be flying a flag.
