Commemorated Event
25th anniversary of Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone
Description
The first of a 4 coin commemorative set to mark the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter book - The Philosopher's Stone.
This strike was issued after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, but in support of His Majesty the King's plan for a sustainable transition, the late Queen’s 5th portrait still appears on this coin. This was done to ensure minimal environmental impact since the designs, tools and packaging had already been produced.
This coin was released in BU, silver and gold, along with a coloured edition.
