The first royal event to be celebrated on a UK 50p coin. The coin was issued to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee (70 years) and was issued individually as well as in a 2-coin set.
The obverse of this coin features a special portrait of the Queen riding a horse. The coin was also struck in BU, silver, gold and platinum.
