Released on 24th April 2023 to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on 6th May 2023. The coin was issued individually and as part of some sets.
The coin commemorates the first British coronation since Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
This coin also features a crowned portrait of King Charles III and is not intended for circulation, unlike the uncrowned version released into circulation in August 2023.
